Digital Rewards distribution has begun! This is our very first time doing anything like this of this magnitude, so please feel free to let us know if things don't quite work as planned and we'll get it fixed ASAP.

If you are a backer or pre-orderer, (not a word), then you should have received a notification that your digital rewards are available.

If you find any errors in the book or extras, then also let us know. We will be setting up a survey site with a link so you can notify us of any issues you find. Our editors were thorough and feel the book is pretty clean, so hopefully you won't find too many!

Exciting news! On December 22nd, the Unnatural Selection digital rewards will be released to all backers!

We have issued a final, 48-hour notice to finish your surveys and lock in your add-ons. Once that 48-hours is up, any additions you've made will be charged and the digital rewards will be available.

After orders have been locked, your friends can still pre-order, but upgrades to your pledges will not be possible.

So if you'd like to give yourself one last Christmas gift of a dice bag, pin, or a sticker, now's your chance!

We are sooooo close.

We're gearing toward stuffing your stockings with a PDF this Christmas, and we're days away from delivering! The editing process is 99% complete, and more artwork has populated the supplement, including maps for the bonus materials. We are waiting on 4 images (which are in the final stages) from only 2 artists and 1 map (which is also in its final stages.)

Artwork - In progress - 97% complete

All of the content is ready on Shadowdarklings, with just some spells needing updating after the editing pass in the book itself. 

We were hoping to release earlier this month, but art has to follow a process. You can't rush those pencils! 

We also want to talk briefly about the playtesting we've been doing. Not only are we testing with two groups in person, but we also have been conducting online playtests with the Shadowdark community. This has been great because the online community fell in love with Kelsey's original creation, and they want to ensure that the purity of the original is represented in Unnatural Selection. Meanwhile, our in-person players are 5e purists. We've seen them become intrigued in the story and gameplay for Shadowdark (as a whole) with our new ancestries and classes. Both tables are always expressing their love for the sessions and the simplicity of the rules. They are becoming converts -- which was exactly what we intended with Unnatural Selection in the first place: Attract those 5e players and expand their universe with something more simple and deadly!

Our editors also come from the community (Kiwi, Grognard) and they are tirelessly dedicated to ensuring the language, tone, and ethos are perfect! This is exciting, and the editing process has really helped NAIL IT. So a big round of applause for those guys!

Now, let's peer at some art we received since the last update. An unbelievable piece by Mark Lyons depicting a Felraack tearing apart a party of 0-level villagers in the Gauntlet Adventure! This piece can be found below if you are a backer.

Shadowdarklings!

We wanted to give an update on the progress that we're making on getting the book and materials completed so we can send you a PDF soon. Here's where we are:

Writing - COMPLETE
Layout - COMPLETE
Legal Review - COMPLETE
Editing - In progress
Artwork - In progress - 90% complete

As we sit here today, on Monday, November 20th, we are cautiously optimistic that the PDF will be delivered the first week of December, depending on the artwork. We are waiting on 5 artists to deliver the final 12 pieces. 

In addition, Unnatural Selection has been integrated into Shadowdarklings and is undergoing review.
It is also currently being integrated into Foundry.

We're almost there! We appreciate your patience and continued support, and we're excited to unleash it soon!
